Sarker Accounting Services is based in Buena Park and serves small businesses across Orange County and the Greater Los Angeles area. Our founder spent over two decades in institutional banking before transitioning into hands-on business operations and full-cycle accounting. The experience behind this firm spans banking compliance, multi-location retail, global distribution, and complex multi-entity structures.

Amrit Sarker, MBA

Amrit is the founder of Sarker Accounting Services. He holds an MBA, a Certified Public Bookkeeper designation from the NACPB, QuickBooks certifications in both Online and Desktop, and a Payroll Accounting certification.

His career in finance started in banking. Over 22 years, he rose to Assistant General Manager at a national bank with more than 900 branches, overseeing credit administration, regulatory compliance, and financial operations at institutional scale. That experience gave him a detailed understanding of how financial records are evaluated from the other side of the table, by lenders, regulators, and auditors. When he prepares your books, he already knows what those parties are looking for.

After moving to the United States, Amrit applied that knowledge hands-on. He ran multi-location convenience store operations across Southern California, managing cash flow, purchasing, inventory control, and pricing every day. From there, he took on full-cycle accounting for a global import and apparel distribution company, handling payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and inventory at scale.

Today, alongside his other client work, Amrit manages the books for a healthcare group with multiple entities. That work spans professional services LLCs, dialysis ventures, real estate holdings, and clinical operations across multiple locations. It is demanding, detail-intensive accounting that requires both precision and a clear understanding of how different business structures relate to each other.

Amrit started Sarker Accounting Services because he saw an opportunity to bring everything he has learned over 35 years to the business owners in his own community. He lives and works in Buena Park, and clients can reach him directly.

Debi Rani Das

Debi keeps the office running. She handles document management, organizes financial records and client files, and supports the accounting team with data entry and preparation of financial documents. When a client file needs to be located or a record needs to be verified, she's the one who makes sure it's where it should be.

She also assists with communication and coordination with clients, helping make sure requests are acknowledged and nothing gets lost between conversations. In a firm that handles books for multiple businesses at once, that kind of follow-through matters more than people realize.

Debi holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rajshahi University in Bangladesh. Her strength is the kind of quiet, consistent accuracy that keeps a busy accounting practice from missing details.

Anjan Sarker

Anjan handles data entry and record management for the firm's client accounts, working in QuickBooks and the firm's digital systems to keep financial records accurate and current. He maintains client data, verifies entries for accuracy, and supports the administrative side of daily operations.

Before joining Sarker Accounting Services, Anjan spent over 15 years in hotel operations across Southern California, including front desk management, team supervision, and guest services. That hospitality background built the attention to detail and the customer service instincts he brings to the work here. When you're managing a hotel front desk, accuracy with reservations, billing, and payments is non-negotiable, and those same habits carry over directly into financial recordkeeping.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate Degree from Cypress College.

Arpan Sarker

Arpan supports the firm's bookkeeping operations, maintaining precise financial records for a diverse client portfolio and assisting with accounts payable and receivable reconciliation. He also helps keep the firm's document organization systems running efficiently, which directly supports the speed and accuracy of tax preparation and reporting work.

Before joining the firm, Arpan spent nearly a decade in customer-facing roles across retail, automotive sales, and hospitality. That experience gave him a strong sense of how small businesses operate day to day, from cash flow pressures to vendor relationships to the importance of getting the details right. It helps him understand the records he's working with, not just as numbers on a screen but as the real activity of a business.

He studied Bio-Electrical Engineering at the Southern California Institute of Technology and brings an analytical mindset to the financial work he does for the firm's clients.

Papri Sarkar Vabna

Papri handles financial data entry in QuickBooks, prepares and organizes documents for tax and accounting workflows, and supports the firm's administrative operations. Accuracy and confidentiality are central to her work. Every client record she touches needs to be right, and she treats that responsibility seriously.

Before her work at the firm, Papri gained experience in front desk operations across several hotel properties in the Anaheim area, where she managed reservations, processed payments, and handled guest concerns. She also worked in retail merchandising. Those roles sharpened her ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks at once, and work efficiently under pressure, all of which translate directly into the financial recordkeeping she does today.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Brindaban Government College in Bangladesh.

Puspita Sarkar Riya

Puspita supports the firm with invoice tracking, record keeping, and financial documentation in QuickBooks. Her work helps ensure that the day-to-day accounting records behind each client engagement stay organized and up to date.

Her background is in pharmaceutical science. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Development Alternative and is a Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh. That training, particularly the emphasis on precision, regulatory compliance, and meticulous documentation, translates well into financial recordkeeping, where small errors compound quickly and accuracy is everything.

Puspita also co-authored a peer-reviewed research publication during her studies, which speaks to the methodical, detail-driven approach she brings to the firm's accounting work.
